I’ve started weaving again. I tied in a tweed on Wednesday night and although it took two hours longer than normal, I managed it! Started weaving yesterday and it’s such a good feeling to be back at it. It’s slow going, and will be for a while until my hand regains full strength. It’s quite awkward not being able to lean on the loom in the same way as it’s far too painful on my hand, so I’ve prescribed plenty of breaks for myself! If only my nephew was at home, I might’ve been able to persuade him to make and change pirns for me!
I’m currently working on a commission – 12×12 herringbone of blue and black.
(Although, that picture looks more grey and brown!)
